An excellent read from a little known author.This book has parts of many favorite subjects: science fiction, adventure, romance, Christmas, and young people who make a positive difference in the world. I recommend this book for teens and adults as the protaganist is in fact a teen/young adult female character who knows what she wants in life and isn't afraid to go for it, while helping others and being a role model for her younger friends.Product details

You can not help but love Pix. The author uses too many cliches though. Still, worth the hour or two it takes to read, and some very humorous bits are deliteful!
Delightful! The author combines themes of family, holiday, identity and love within the larger scale of an intergalactic pecking order, reminiscent of CS Lewis' Space Trilogy. Pix, the main character, is a young, strong and good-hearted protagonist that could inspire even the most skeptic of critics. The plot moves quickly, adding characters and sub-plots on a well-paced basis, keeping the reader intrigued without losing focus of the larger picture. While set during the winter holidays, I read it in mid-April and couldn't put it down. Definitely worth the time!
